I was recently invited to join a group of Road Scholars while they explored the Columbia River Gorge — total score. Not only did I instantly make 28 new friends, I hiked between 10 and 14 miles in less then 36 hours, saw 5 new waterfalls, climbed approximately 3,000 feet, took 1500 photos and put on a slide show (after which I received an incredible amount of warm feedback and compliments). It was a spectacular way to spend two days.
Below is the slide show I presented, all photos from Day One. On this day we hiked up Beacon Rock, hiked to Wachella Falls, visited the Bonneville Damn, Bonneville Fish Hatchery and met Herman The Sturgeon (a 400lb beast of a fish).
